Mit der Zeit haben sie einen einzigartigen Sound entwickelt, der traditionellen und zeitgenössischen Folk mit Jazz und anderen Stilen kombiniert.
Fiona Lander and Paul Mason collectively known as ‘Landermason’ started writing and recording songs together in 2000.
Although they met in the south of England they now live back in the North East. Fiona (vocals, piano, saxophone, whistles, clarinet and recorder) and Paul (vocals and guitars) have developed a unique sound displaying their undoubted talents as musicians. The music they write and perform is a refreshing mix of contemporary folk and jazz. Uplifting melodies and superb harmonies feature within thoughtfully crafted songs, along with skilful arrangements that showcase the many instruments played.
They have performed at some of the UK’s best known live music venues and are equally at home entertaining audiences in folk and acoustic music clubs, theatres, festivals and pubs. They even host their own monthly acoustic music night called the ‘Baa Club’ which is designed to encourage songwriters and musicians from near and far who deserve a wider audience.
